Day in the life of tbone

In today’s episode, T-Bone walks us through his day. He drops his kids off at school, walks into the office and uses his day to change people’s lives.

As dentistry changes, insurance changes, patient needs change, and T-Bone adjusts to these. “Think about how much money patients paid for a procedure in the past. Most of that wouldn’t even cover a filling today.” This statement helps dentists think about the way they approach their practice. Insurance payments limit what patients can afford, and this limits the care that they are able to receive. He’s aware of this and wants to make sure that others are too. T-Bone’s day includes a surgical case that requires him to show some of the newest surgical techniques to help patients heal. From using their own growth factors to help with healing and clotting to being prepared for best and worst-case scenarios. T-Bone talks through his daily decisions with his staff, explaining to them why he takes scans on a tooth he likely can’t place today, simply because he wants to be prepared in case he can. Displaying great bedside manner, he makes sure that his patient knows what he did, why he did it, and what she can expect in the coming days.
